- PLEASE READ ALL CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE REQUESTING: We do not have an office in Christchurch, we will correspond with you by email. You are Insured with an Excess of $3500 and a Bond of $1500 is required. The Bond will be held on your Credit Card and released when the vehicle is returned undamaged to our yard in Wanaka at the due date and time. You will be asked for a photo of your both sides of your drivers licence and credit card details. A contract will be sent to you with all the details of pick up and drop off. If you cancel the transfer after being accepted there is a $50 cancellation fee. The car will be full of fuel and is to be returned full.

Cancellation policy
Once your relocation request is accepted, a cancellation fee applies at all times and will be charged to your credit card when you cancel, or do not show up for your booking. For cancellations made more than 48hrs ahead of pickup, a cancellation fee of $25 will be applied. Late cancellations (within 48 hours of pick-up time) will be charged $50, and no-shows will be charged $100. Cancellations must be made by logging into "My Transfercar" and selecting "Cancel trip" under the booking. Please be aware that the rental operator might have a separate cancellation fee beyond Transfercar's policy.
