Built on the well known LDV V80, Budget 2 berth campervan with shower and toilet, features innovative and qualitative accommodation on wheels for up to three individuals. With a fuel consumption of approximately 9 litres per 100 kilometres and diesel road user charges included, this campervan is extremely economical when travelling New Zealand. The rear bed is large enough to accommodate 2 adults and 1 child or three adult friends (1.83m X 1.81m). The passenger airbag can be switch-disabled if this is needed for rear facing child restraints. These features allows parents with young children to economically explore New Zealand. The Budget 2 campervan was handcrafted by using range of modern materials and appliances. The entire interior furniture is made from durable plywood, covered by hard wearing yet visually attractive Formica veneer. The appliances include a 85l fridge, 2 stove gas cooking, a shower toilet cubicle, a large and comfortable bed and generous storage compartments. Standard features include LPG central gas heating as well as a 12V power supply and two USB ports. Two roof vents help to ventilate the vehicle. The TV is hardwired into a Bluetooth radio and the rear speakers (4X50W). The hot water is powered by a heat exchanger, connected to the vehicle cooling system. There is no need for gas or any other fuel to heat water. Once the engine reaches operating temperature, the in-house water will be hot for a period of up to 24 hours. The on-board dual house battery system provides a generous 2.88-kilowatt hours of battery storage. Combined with a quality alternator and 240 volt charging system, this vehicle will not disappoint when freedom camping. - The driver must be at least 21 years old
- A valid and full/unrestricted driving licence issued in Australia or New-Zealand, -or- a legally confirmed English translation of your driving licence, accompanied by a valid driving licence from your country
- Transfercar will not deduct any money off your credit or debit card for insurance purposes. All transactions will be made directly between the driver and the rental operator at time of pickup or via phone once the request is accepted. For all debit card transactions, the usual bond/excess is required at time of pickup and released on safe and timely return of the vehicle.
